Our school, like our world, is incredibly diverse. To do honor to both, Saint Mark's Preschool celebrates a different country and culture ten months of the year. Each school year has a different pattern to our cultural curriculum. Parents are encouraged to help us introduce the students to countries and cultures of which they are most familiar. This can include stories, games, food, native dress, song and arts and crafts. Let your child's lead teacher know how you might be able to help so that we can build it into the curriculum plan for that particular day.

In addition to the five classrooms listed above, our facility has two wonderful yards (two of them!) for play and exploration. The front yard area includes an absolutely enormous sand pit with overhead awning, plus plenty of area for table play and tiny tot games of basketball. It also features misters--a very popular thing in the hot summer months. The back yard has apparatus, slides and swings on a spongy ground cover and a good size grass area for running around, playing soccer, tackling an obstacle course. In the summer, we also have a a wading pool for splashing around.
